    The Board hereby opens this Docket for the purpose of pro~
    posing regulations prescribing the type and amount of performance
    bonds or other security for the purpose of insuring closure and
    post-~-closurecare of non~hazardouswaste disposal sites.
    Section
    21,1(b) of the Environmental Protection Act requires the Board to
    adopt such rules by January
    1,
    1985.
    The Board intends to adopt
    a proposal for first notice in the near future.
