    ORDER CF THE BOARD

    This matter
    comes before
    the Board
    upon a Petition
    for
    Variance Extension filed December
    30,
    1986 on behalf of
    the City
    of
    Geneva.
    The Board
    finds the petition deficient and
    requests that the
    City of Geneva submit
    a more detailed explanation of its proposed
    compliance plan
    for achieving compliance ~.dththe pertinent Board
    regulations.
    The City should also submit more
    information on the
    shallow well referenced
    in
    paragraph
    7
    of its variance petition;
    specifically, the radium levels
    in the shallow well and
    whether
    the shallow well
    could
    be used
    for blending with the deep
    wells.
    The City also fails
    to either request
    a hearing on its
    petition or waive
    a hearing with an
    affidavit attesting
    to the
    facts asserted
    in the petition pursuant
    to Section 104.124.
    Lastly,
    the Board
    notes that the statements regarding
    a
    compliance plan
    in paragraph
    4 of the petition conflict with
    similar statements
    in paragraph
    8 of the petition.
    ‘Ihe
    City
    should explain the apparent conflict presented by these
    statements.
    Unless this information
    is submitted within
    45 days
    of the
    date
    of this Order, this matter will be subject to dismissal.
