    HEARING OFFICER ORDER
     
     
    On April 21, 2005, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
    hearing officer. The respondent represented that settlement discussions have been ongoing and
    that the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency) rejected the Supplemental
    Environmental Project (SEP) submitted by the respondent. The complainant, however, has
    requested that the Agency review the SEP a second time.
     
    On April 28, 2005, the parties submitted a proposed revised discovery schedule. The
    proposed revised discovery schedule is accepted to the extent as follows: all written discovery
    served on or before July 1, 2005; answers to all written discovery served on or before September
    15, 2005; fact and opinion witness depositions completed on or before November 1, 2005.
     
    The parties or their legal representatives are directed to appear at a telephonic status
    conference with the hearing officer on June 23, 2005, at 9:45 a.m. The telephonic status
    conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
    own appearance. At the conference the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the
    above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
