ILLINOIS ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION AGENCY,
Respondent.
ORDER OF THE BOARD
 (by B.
 Forcade):
Or-i
 July 24,
 1987,
the Lake County Public Works Department,
Wildwood Subdivision Water Supply System filed
 a Petition for
Variance, seeking relief from regulations on restricted status
and standards
for permit issuance as those regulations pertain
 to
limitations
 or-i combined Radium—226
 and 228.
 That petition
 is
deficient
 in that:
1)
 It fails
 to provide
 the sampling and
analysis data required by paragraph
 3
 of
the August
 14,
 1986, variance Order
 in
PCB 86—75,
particularly the sampling and
pumping
 rates required by subparagraph
(b);
 and
2)
 It fails to address whether
 it
is fea-
sible to remove Well No.
 2 from service
and whether this would reduce contamina-
tion levels
 in the distribution system.
Unless an amended petition
 is filed within
 45
days
 of the
date of this Order,
curing the above—noted defect, this matter
will
 be subject
to dismissal.
IT
 IS SO
ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk
 of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby certify that the above Order was adopted on
