FORTY-EIGHT INSULATIONS, INC.,
an Illinois Corporation,
Respondent.
INTERIM ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by Mr. Dumelle):
On June
6, 1977, Respondent filed a motion for reconsideratiox~
in this matter asking that the monetary penalty of $10,000 be
reduced or eliminated.
Among
the many reasons stated by
Respondent in support of its motion for reconsideration were
the allegations that it
is one of the smallest firms
in the
mineral wool industry,
that it has limited capital and
borrowing ability, and that its viability would be directly
affected by the amount of the fine.
Before the Board can rule finally on the Respondent’s
motion for reconsideration it will need more information
concerning the Respondent’s financial and competitive status~
Within 21 days of the date of this order, Respondent shall submit
documentation to the Board which demonstrates its financial
condition, quantifies
the effect of the present penalty, and
establishes the size of its business in relation to its
competitors.
IT
