HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On December 22, 2005, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. The parties represented that have had a meeting to discuss the penalty demand
with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency since the last status conference . The
respondent represented that it is awaiting the complainant's response to its suggested penalty . In
the interim, the parties were directed to submit a proposed discovery schedule on or before
January 20, 2006 .
The parties are directed to participate in a telephonic status call with the hearing officer on
February 23, 2006, at 11 :00 a.m. The status conference must be initiated by the complainant, but
each party is nonetheless responsible for its own appearance . At the status conference, the
parties must be prepared to discuss the status of the above-captioned matter and their readiness
for hearing
