    (Permit Appeal)
    ILLINOIS ENVIRONMENTAL
    )
    PROTECTION AGENCY,
    Respondent.
    ORDER OF THE BOARD
    (by N.
    Nardulli):
    This matter
    comes
    before the
    Board
    on
    a petition filed
    on
    December
    14,
    1992,
    by
    Douglas Furniture.
    On May
    20,
    1993,
    the
Board issued an order granting a stay
    in this matter until August
    9,
    1993.
    On August
    9,
1993, the Agency filed a status report.
    On
    August
    20,
    1993,
    the petitioner
    filed
    a
    limited
    waiver
    of the
    decision deadline until June 30,
    1994.
    In
    its
    status
    report,
    the
    Agency
    reports
    that
    Douglas
Furniture filed a petition for an adjusted standard with the Board
    on March 9,
1993, and that a hearing was scheduled for the adjusted
    standard on August
    9,
    1993.
    The Agency asserts that there
    are
substantial issues in common between the instant permit appeal and
    the adjusted
    standard.
    The
    parties
    believe that
    the
    adjusted
    standard will address and resolve
    issues
    in this permit appeal.
Therefore, the Agency requests that the Board “hold this matter in
    abeyance
    pending
    the
    resolution
    of
    the
    pending
    petition
    for
    adjusted standard.”
At the parties’ request, the Board will take no further action
on this matter at this time.
The Board directs the parties to file
a status report to be received by the Board on or before November
    26,
    1993.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
    I, Dorothy M.
    Gunn,
Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control
    Board,
