ORDER OF THE BOARD (by J.D. Dumelle):
This matter comes before the Board upon
a December
4,
1989,
filing
of
an
aoenaed
petition
for
rulemakinq
and
a
notion
for
expedited hearing by Abbott Laboratories
(Abbott).
On December
6,
1989,
the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency)
filed a
response to the motion,
stating
that while
it has no
position on the merits
at this time
it does not object
to
proceeding on
a expedited basis.
The Board hereby grants Abbott’s motion for expedited
hearing
insofar as
it
is practicable in light of the Board’s
current schedule and workload.
The Board directs
the hearing
officer
to schedule a hearing on the proposal and to expedite
this proceeding as much as possible.
