ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by Mr.
Henss):
Petitioner Illinois Brick Company has filed motion requesting
an extension of time within which it may
file with the Board
ambient air quality information regarding hydrogen sulfide, and
the entry of an order declaring that the testing procedure described
in paragraph

the requirements of this
Board~s
Order of June
27,
1974,
The MotionS is allowed~ The
time for the filing of the information shall be extended to and
including September 25,
1974.
We find that no one method of
testing
the ambient air for hydrogen sulfide has received general
and official acceptance but believe that the method described in
paragraph
3
of the Motion is a good method and should be acceptable
on the facts of this particular case,
The
procedure discussed
in
paragraph
3
does meet with the Board approval especially since the
Agency has raised no objectiots
to
it,
It is
ordered that the method described
in
paragraph
