HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On November 18, 2004, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. The complainant represented that it has forwarded a draft stipulation and
proposal for settlement for review. The parties, however, are discussing a related issue that has
surfaced and anticipate a meeting prior to the next status conference. The respondent made an
oral motion for an extension of time to file its answer. The complainant had no objection.
Respondent’s motion is granted. Respondent’s answer is now due on or before February 14,
2005.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on January 20, 2005, at 11:30 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
