HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On May 11, 2005, the parties informed the hearing officer that a stipulation and proposal
for settlement (stipulation) is being reviewed by the respondent. Further discussions will
continue. The hearing officer granted the respondents’ oral motion for an extension of time to
file their answer. Respondents’ answer is now due on or before July 8, 2005.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on June 30, 2005, at 9:45 a.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the complainant, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing. If, however, a stipulation is filed
prior to the next status conference, the conference will be cancelled without further order.
