    Dear Sirs;
    We are writing to you
    in reference to the Pollution Control Board matter referenced
    above which concerns permitting a United Disposal Transfer Station to be located in
    Bradley, Illinois.
    We feel that the need for an alternate refuse site for the solid waste is largely needed in
    the community, for health,
    safety and
    economic reasons.
    Our only landfill in the area has
    been shutdown several times in the last year due to labor strikes and excessive winds,
    leaving us no alternative site to dump
    solid waste.
    The current landfill
    is also preparing
    to close indefinitely.
    These issues concern us greatly.
    We are supportive ofthe United
    Disposal Transfer site and asking for your consideration on these issues when you
    deliberate on this case.
