ILLINOIS POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD
July 11, 1986
IN THE MATTER OF:
)
)
UIC UPDATE, USEPA REGULATIONS
)
R85-23
(THROUGH 6/30/85)
)
FINAL ORDER. ADOPTED RULES.
ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by J.
Anderson):
On June
20,
1986, the Board adopted an Opinion and Order
amending the UIC and RCRA rules.
The Opinion provided that the
Board would withhold filing of the adopted rules for 30 days
to
allow motions for reconsideration.
The Board has received no
such motions, although the time has not yet lapsed.
However, the
Board has discovered several minor errors
in the adopted rules
through its own review of the Order.
The corrections are as
follows:
704.148
In the introductory paragraph,
the
reference should be to subsection
(c) rather than
(d)
704.150(c)(2)(B)
Reference should be to subsection
(i) rather than
(j)
704.150(c)(2)(D)
Change
“he” to “the owner or
operator”
704.150(d)(3)
Reference should be to Subpart G
rather than F
704.15O(g)(l)(C)
Reference should be to subsection
(f)(1)(C) rather than to
(g)(1)(C)
704.150(g)(2)(A)
Reference should be to subsections
(f)(2)(A),
(B) and
(C) rather than
to
(g)(2)(A),
(B) and
(C)
704.150(g)(2)(C)
Change
“re” to “be”
The Board appreciates the assistances
of Morton Dorothy,
a
member of the Board~sScientific/Technical
staff, in the
preparation of the drafts in this proceeding,
and of Kathleen
Crowley, administrative assistant, in the coordination and
oversight process.
71.108

The Board directs that these changes
be made to the rules
before filing, which will be delayed until after July
21,
1986,
to await any motions for reconsideration.
On this same day the Board has adopted in R86-1 amendments
to Parts 702 and
703,
which are also amended in this Docket.
Because Administrative Code Unit rules prohibit the publication
of more than one set of adopted rules to any Part in one issue of
the Illinois Register, R85-23 and R86-1 have to either
be
published in different issues, or be combined for publication.
The Board authorizes consolidation for publication if
it appears
to be the most efficient way to proceed.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I,
Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby certi~thpt the above Order was adopted on
the
//ZZ
