HEARING OFFICER ORDER
On April 8, 2004, all parties participated in a telephonic status conference with the
hearing officer. The parties that they intend to pursue settlement discussions in an attempt to
resolve or narrow the issues.
Respondent made an oral motion for an extension of time to file the record in this matter.
The petitioners had no objection. Respondent’s motion is granted to the extent that the
respondent must file the record on or before April 30, 2004.
The petitioners represented that it will file a 60-day waiver of the statutory decision
deadline.
The parties or their legal representatives are directed to participate in a telephonic status
conference with the hearing officer on May 13, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. The telephonic status
conference must be initiated by the petitioners, but each party is nonetheless responsible for its
own appearance. At the status conference, the parties must be prepared to discuss the status of
the above-captioned matter and their readiness for hearing.
