The Order of May 28, 1981 in R77-15 and R80โ22 is incorporated
herein.
It is the Order of the Illinois Pollution Control Board that
Rules 204(c)(1)(A) and 204(h) of Chapter
2, Air Pollution Control
Rules and Regulations, be amended as follows.
Rule 204(c)
Sulfur Dioxide Emission For Existing Fuel Combustion
Sources.
(1)
Solid Fuel Burned Exclusively.
(A)
Existing Fuel Combustion Sources Located In
the Chicago,
St. Louis
(Illinois) and Peoria
Major Metropolitan Areas.
No person shall
cause or allow the emission of sulfur dioxide
into the atmosphere in any one hour period
from any existing fuel combustion source,
burning solid fuel exclusively, located in the
Chicago,
St. Louis
(Illinois),
and Peoria
major metropolitan areas,
to exceed 1.8 pounds
of sulfur dioxide per million btu of actual
heat input,
on or after May
30,
197ST; except
that emissions from industrial boilers located
in the Peoria major metropolitan area and
havin9
actual heat inputs not greater than 250 million
btu per hour may not exceed 5.5 pounds of sulfur
dioxide per million btu of actual heat input
on or after November 1,
1981.

Rule 204(h)
Compliance Dates.
The Clerk is directed to initiate the First Notice period
pursuant to the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act simultaneously
with filing as an emergency rule.
